Overall, this feels like one of the bands more melodic releases. There might not be as many hit tracks on this one as the bands best album “Rock the Rebel/Metal the Devil” (2007), but it has its own unique sound and touch. Unlike many other bands of their generation, Volbeat has continued to develop their sound a lot since their breakthrough, and this album provides good songs and a great sound combined really quite beautifully. Although with their last album “Seal the Deal & Let’s Boogie” (2016) in mind, I very much lean towards the feeling that I will be satisfied!Īnd sure enough, “Rewind, Replay, Rebound” is a really good album. And being someone who appriciate Volbeat without absolutely embracing them, I kind of feel I can listen to this album and be ready for anything. And since there for some reason are a lot of people in both of these categories but not too many in between, I can only give you what I think.

VOLBEAT REWIND REPLAY REBOUND FULL
The song bursts out immediately at full speed like a straight-ahead driving force that certainly fits Fallon’s style. Most notably the influx of additional talent can be heard on the track, “Die To Live”, which features guest vocalist Neil Fallon of Clutch along with Raynier Jacob Jacildo on piano and Doug Corocran on saxophone.

The signature Volbeat sound of Poulsen’s voice and those moments of heavy riffs and crowd inducing sing-a-long lyrics still exist, but they’ve also expanded their sounds with help from other musicians. Michael Poulsen on vocals and guitar, Rob Caggiano on guitar, Kaspar Boye Larsen on bass and Jon Larsen on drums have brought their talents back into the studio to create the seventh Volbeat album.

Unless you grab the deluxe edition, which has an additional eight songs, three of which are not on the original album and the other five songs are demos of tracks that are on the original album. There’ll be plenty of replay of this album as it features 14 songs. The album is titled, ‘Rewind, Replay, Rebound’. Hey fellow metalheads, the psychobilly rock and rollers, Volbeat, have a new album releasing on August 2 nd.
